Welcome to my garden blog. Winter months bring winter birds to the garden, spring brings renewal with bright colors and natures wondrous flowers, summer brings perennials that liven up the outdoors, while autumn gives us a harvest of homegrown veggies.

All 8 Perennials For Under $15!!!

$2 per pot! What a bargain! I even then got my 10% employee discount.
I wanted more sedum, so now I have two more to put in the front flower garden.
The astilbe will go up by the back corner garden
I was like a kid in a candy store when I saw these gems. I said to Mr H a few days ago, " It will take some time to build the perennial garden up as they are so expensive." Ha! I am well on my way! Luckily this weekend is supposed to be nice and I can plant them right away. I also have to dig out my elephant ear bulb, so it will all work out well.
I got 2 of these orange coneflowers. They will go nicely in the front garden as well. Or maybe I will put them down in the front corner garden, but I already planted purple coneflowers down there...so....we shall see.
These anenomes will go nicely in the back of the house garden. I bought a white and a pink. Was gonna do 2 white, but I thought it would be nice to have one of each.
So the perennial gardens are coming along nicely. I can't wait until next spring/summer to see then all bloom! Now I am on the hunt for 2 garden benches. Maybe the mud sale this spring will bring me luck finding 2 at a good price. I want one for the front garden and the back garden. I think garden benches look so lovely sitting in a flower bed.
